Halsey Wise

Halsey Wise joined Lyric as Chief Executive Officer after serving on the company’s board since 2022, where he actively shaped company strategy.

He’s led six companies as CEO or president (four public, two private) and served on 10 corporate boards (seven public, three private). Across nearly three decades, Halsey has driven global business transformation, growth and value creation across health tech, software and financial services. A strategic thinker, proven value creator and disciplined allocator of people, time and capital, he builds high-performing leadership and management teams.

His focus is on scaling the Lyric42 Platform, strengthening client and partner relationships, accelerating investments in innovation and AI, and propelling growth both organically and through strategic M&A. He’s establishing Lyric as one of the most innovative, impactful and important companies in healthcare, anchored by a data-centric strategy and clear market differentiation.

Halsey is chairman and CEO of Lime Barrel Advisors LLC, a private investment firm he founded in 2010. He currently serves on the boards of Nextech Systems (as chairman), Lyric and WellSky, and is a senior adviser to TPG Capital. Previously, he served as chairman, CEO and president of Intergraph (NASDAQ:INGR) and as chairman and CEO of MedAssets (NASDAQ:MDAS). Halsey has served on the boards of Cotiviti (NYSE:COTV), Cerner (NASDAQ: CERN; now Oracle Health), Aspen Technology (NASDAQ: AZPN) and Acxiom (NYSE:ACXM).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Wise and his wife, Lisha, run the R. Halsey and Lisha S. Wise Family Foundation, which supports scholarships, food security initiatives, military veteran services and healthcare causes.
