General Manager Lyric (Concert)
Rob Metcalf is an experienced software and information services executive. Rob has a passion for building world-class companies that use technology to transform entire industries. Following the acquisition of Concert by Lyric in July 2026, Rob serves as General Manager of the Concert business.
In his 10 years as CEO of Concert, Rob expanded the company’s offerings to deliver the digital infrastructure that makes precision health smart, simple, effective, and affordable. While there, he co-founded the Precision Health Information Network Summit, and he remains a vocal advocate for spurring innovation and reducing costs in health care. Prior to joining Concert, Rob served as President & Chief Operating Officer of Digital Reasoning.
Under his leadership, Digital Reasoning grew into a global leader in cognitive computing and pioneer in the use of machine learning to automate high-cost, high-value activities in financial services, law enforcement, national security and healthcare. Before Digital Reasoning, Rob held executive positions in Mexico, Canada, and the United States with the information services leader LexisNexis. At LexisNexis, Rob oversaw numerous acquisitions at the forefront of the company’s global software strategy.
Rob is an Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management, where he teaches a course in Strategy & Leadership for Healthcare. Rob earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Princeton University and his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
