Ravi Umarji
Chief Financial & Strategy Officer
Ravi Umarji is Lyric’s Chief Financial & Strategy Officer. As CFO/CSO, Ravi leads finance, enterprise strategy, and corporate development, with a focus on driving topline growth, profitability, and strategic prioritization across the organization.
Prior to joining Lyric, Ravi spent 12 years with TPG Capital, where he co-led the launch of TPG’s European healthcare investment franchise and oversaw more than $2 billion in equity capital deployed across the U.S. and Europe. He also helped lead TPG’s investments in several companies, and either served on the Board of or was involved in the firm’s investments in: DOC Generici, Kelsey Seybold Clinic, Kindred at Home, Kindred Healthcare, Curo Health Services, and The Warranty Group. These investments were characterized by a commitment to driving outstanding clinical outcomes with lower total cost, underpinned by enduring partnerships.
Before joining TPG in 2012, Ravi worked in the Investment Banking division at Goldman Sachs. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Northwestern University, graduating magna cum laude and with Tau Beta Pi engineering honors. Ravi also holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Gene is responsible for the development of Lyric’s overall technology and product strategy as well as ensuring technologies are scaled and used efficiently and securely.
Before joining Lyric, Gene was CTO at Rally Health/Optum, where he led engineers responsible for designing, building, scaling, supporting, and securing digital products. Gene co-founded and held the role of CIO/COO at BayRu LLC, where he led the engineering the operations team to build out the range of custom-built sales, supply chain, and other integrated systems.

Jan has extensive experience advising complex healthcare technology companies. Before Lyric, Jan was vice president and managing senior counsel for Change Healthcare where she and her team of attorneys and compliance professionals supported the Software and Analytics Business Unit. Jan started her career at Morrison and Foerster and also held senior roles in the healthcare technology businesses at Thomson (now Thomson Reuters) and McKesson.
